Choosing a degree is important as it is the 4 year pathway that will be guiding you to your future career and livelihood. Therefore, although you can ask people for advice, in the end the final decision still belongs to you as you are the one that will be studying the courses that you choose.
Here are some questions for you to ask yourself to help you find the answer to which course you should take:1. What do you want to be at the end of the degree? (Do you want to be a counsellor, teacher, etc.?)2. Is there an age range that you want to work with? (children, teens, adults, senior citizens, etc.)3. Which makes you happier, helping people with their personal problems, or educating people with language and communication skills? (Both help people in different ways)4. What are the pros and cons of the course and the career that comes with it? (study/work-life balance, stress levels, tuition fees/income, place of study/work...)We hope these questions helped clarify some of your doubts. Feel free to ask us more questions after reflecting on these questions. We wish you all the best!

Unfortunately, it will be too late for you to apply for KADS1M this year. Even though you have one day between the UPU results and the KADS1M deadline, there is not enough time because your name needs to be in the university's system first before they can send your name to Bank Rakyat for them to process your application before you can be issued a card.
As for trying out for it next year, it will have to depend on the government's decision on whether they are continuing the programme or not, so keep your eyes out for the annual budget announcement for 2019 in October. They might stick with the current programme, cancel the programme, or come out with a new programme altogether. All we can do is to wait.
Hope this helps, and we wish you the best for your UPU results!
Piloting
Scholarship/Loans
Hello Hidayah,There are actually no scholarships for piloting programmes, as the job demand for pilots are currently quite low in addition to the very high tuition fees. However, it is still possible to try to pay for the course with these methods:1. Join the cadet pilot programme of an airline company - Bigger companies like MAS or Air Asia have internal sponsorships and cadet pilot programmes that have intakes annually. Although you will have to get a loan to fund your studies, the programmes mostly guarantee the students a job after graduating. However, the application process is very strict and vigorous, and it is hard to get in. The application for Air Asia is currently closed, but here is a link to an article about their cadet pilot programme in case you want to try for it next year. https://afterschool.my/articles/air-asias-cadet-pilot-programme-2017-now-open...

Become a pilot through the Royal Air Force - You can find out more here for current intakes: http://www.airforce.mil.my/kerjaya/pengambilan-terkini3. Take a private bank loan - we DO NOT suggest this as after you graduate from a private flight school, you are not guaranteed a job, and the job demand is at an all time low. Besides that, you will also have to pay interest to the bank. You might take some time to repay it all back as the cost of a piloting programme is rather hefty. All in all, it is still best to go for the cadet programmes that airlines offer, as you will be guaranteed a job, so that you will have no problem paying back your bank loans.Hope this helps. We wish you all the best!

Malaysia is the only country in the world that uses the Malay language as an official language, so there will not be specific classes where you will be learning about the Malay language. However, there are plenty of universities overseas that offer masters courses in Asian literature and languages/linguistics, and you can choose the Malay language/literature as your scope of research. Some examples of research can be focusing on the characteristics of Malay literature and how it shapes modern Malaysian culture, or the evolving Malay language as a creole after centuries of language exchange between various cultures. Therefore, it will have to depend on the scope of study or research that you are looking to work on.
However, you have to take note that research papers will have to be in English as per the university’s language medium. This is to make it easier for the international academic community to understand your work.
Hope this information helps. We wish you all the best :)

Hello Tolesh,
Can you please complete your question with the name of the degree that you are referring to? We will need this detail in order for us to give you a full and detailed answer on the price of a certain degree course at Sunway University. This is because different variations in the courses such as the duration of the course, course materials, and extra fees (i.e. laboratory/studio use, etc.) determine the price of the degree.
Hope to hear from you soon :)
