What skills do you need for a course in Finance Management?

Able to manage a team

When you and your friends plan a get together, you’re the one picking the venue, while everyone just replies with ‘anywhere’. On top of that, you keep calling everyone on the day to make sure everyone is in lien to be on time. Maybe you’re the captain of your futsal team, and you’re the one who can calm your team down when you’re 3-0 down in a tournament and pump them up at the same time. You’re just naturally a good manager. You’re equally comfortable handling and supervising employees under their authority with respect and efficiency, compared to company supervisors and investors. They can balance eking out the very best from their team, against not pushing them over their limits. They balance out aiming for the best possible outcome, against keeping the expectations of the investors in check. It might seem like the hardest tight rope walk you’ve ever heard of, but to someone who’s able to manage a team ? All in a day’s work!

Eye for detail

You’re the kind of person who notices the odd stain on an otherwise clean shirt or t-shirt and don’t want to use on a date or an important meeting because even if they don’t notice you, you’ll know! Suffice to stay, you pay attention to the smallest of details. In fact, the smaller the detail, the bigger the significance it has, to you at least.

Inquisitive

It’s dinner time, and your friend calls you up to head out for dinner. While screening suggestions from your group, you hear about this new place which is famous for intestines, from one of them. While the rest of your group react with a mixture of disgust and horror, a fire slowly starts to flicker in your heart. You must dine at this new place. Not because you like the food (you’ll probably hate it), but simply because you’re curious. Thankfully, you’re not a cat.
