Hi Mahaletchminy,

The fees are different according to the institution. Is there a particular institution you are looking at?

Otherwise, generally the total fees for Diploma in Physiotherapy are between RM30,000 to RM50,000 depending on the university.

Hi Siti,

The 4-year accounting programme at UniKL consists of 8 semesters, each term amounting to RM6500. The entire course accumulates to RM52,000 for a local student.

If you're interested, IUMW and IUKL also offer the course with a similar fee structure. IUMW's course is a 3-year programme though, so you could pursue the degree in a shorter amount of time!

Hope this helps!

Hello Shayumi,

There are generally no scholarships for students to further their studies overseas with a few exceptions, such as the JPA scholarship, Maybank scholarship, Petronas Sponsorship Programme, and a few others. These programmes are sponsorships, where you are bonded to the organisation who has sponsored you, so you will already have a job lined up for you back home in Malaysia. However, you will not have a choice in which country you will be sent to further your studies.

Another path you can take to further your studies in Australia will be to apply for the internal scholarships offered by the Australian university instead. By doing so, you will be funded by the Australian university, and you will not be bonded to any organisation. The con is that the amount given for internal scholarships are usually not as high as a sponsorship, and you will need to find alternate ways to fund the remaining costs.

Hope this helps. We wish you all the best!

Hello Hamizan,

Here are the general entry requirements for being a pilot:

  • Malaysian citizen, age between 18 to 26 years old (as at date of application)
  • Pass SPM or its equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government with six (6) credits including Bahasa Malaysia and a minimum of B in Mathematics, Physics and English taken at one sitting OR
  • Possess Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science related disciplines with minimum CGPA 3.0 or above and six (6) credits with pass in Bahasa Malaysia in SPM taken at one sitting.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit with good eyesight (visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6) and not colour blind.
  • Minimum height 163 cm (5ft 4in).

The costs for being a pilot are not cheap, and could range from RM 240,000 - 300,000. Do also take note that although the job pays well, the job demand for pilots are currently low as well, as the number of pilots override the number of jobs.

However, if you are really interested in being a pilot, go for it! Here are some links to guide you in learning more about piloting as a job, and how to apply for one:
