Malaysian Woman Goes Viral After Landing Job at Tesla

Many of us have dreamed of working at these world-renowned companies like NASA, Google, or even Tesla. Well, this Malaysian student beat all the odds and overcame all the challenges to land a job at Tesla.

Fakhirah Khairuddin, an alumni of MARA Junior Science College (MRSM), is now living in Fremont, California working as a technical training robotics engineering instructor at Tesla. She studied at MRSM in Terengganu and received a scholarship from Majilis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) to study at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) after graduation.

Upon completion of her Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering, she received another scholarship from the university to pursue a Master’s Degree.

Her vast knowledge and technical experience which helped her get her job at Tesla was further celebrated by tech enthusiast Richard Ker, who is the vice president of Aerodyne Group in Malaysia.

Ker shared some of her credentials including the fact that she has worked as a Propulsion Development Engineer at the University of California and that she was a team lead and spearheaded the research and development of a Hexacopter Project with UCSD.

Upon seeing the post Fakhirah thanked Ker for highlighting her skills and netizens who were proud of her achievements took to social media to congratulate her.
