The World Health Organization (WHO) defines traditional medicine as "the sum total of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on the theories, beliefs and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not, used in the maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of physical and mental illness.

What you need to get on a Traditional Medicine course?

Diploma in Traditional Medicine

SPM : Pass with credits in 2 Science subjects

O-Levels : Pass with credits in 2 science subjects

Degree in Traditional Medicine

A-Level/STPM : Full Passes in 2 relevant subjects Sceience subjects with CGPA of 2.5

SAM : ATAR 70 and minimum Grade B in twos Science subjets

CPU : 70% average in 6 relevant subjects which must include two science subjetcs

UEC : Grade B in 5 relevant subjects which must include two Science subjects (I or II)

Foundation : Minimum CGPA of 2.2.50

Diploma : Diploma in the relevant field as recognised by the University’s senate

Master in Traditional Medicine

Master’s Degree : A relevant first or second class Honours degree, or a degree qualification, or equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government, acceptable to the University.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) : English proficiency with either 600 in TOEFL or with a minimum score of 6 in IELTS; or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study with a first class honours; or Completed Master of Mamthematics or
