Physical therapists are healthcare professionals who specialise in rehabilitation, prevention and health maintenance. They work with individuals of all ages – from newborns to the very oldest, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to function normally.

Market Demand

Between 2010 and 2040, Malaysians aged 65 years and above are projected to increase more than three folds of the 2010 population, according to the Malaysian statistics department. As the population ages, the demand to hire physical therapists will grow. Physical therapists are charged with increasing the mobility and relieving the pain of movement for their patients. There are many physical therapy jobs available in a wide variety of locations and specialties. Many are in hospitals, private offices and for staffing companies.
