COURSE OVERVIEW

Explore the fundamentals of finance and the rapidly evolving industry known. This 3-year programme will put you at the forefront of research and development within this sector, allowing you to gain the skills necessary to pursue a wide range of careers.

Year 1 modules will introduce you to the foundations of business analytics and finance, as well as introduction to finance, accounting and finance, management and marketing.

In year two, you will gain a greater understanding in financial econometrics, financial management, portfolio theory and financial markets. You will also be introduced to fintech.

In your final year, you will be exposed to alternative investments, behavioural finance, cryptocurrency investments, futures and options, as well as produce a dissertation on a related topic of your choice.

A-Level

AAB including Mathematics; excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking.

IB Diploma

Pass with 34 points overall, 17 at Higher Level, including 5 points at Higher Level in Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretation)

STPM

A-A-B including Mathematics (minimum grade B); excluding General Studies.

UEC

AAAAA including Mathematics

English Language Requirements

IELTS 6.5 overall, minimum 6.0 in all components or Grade C in SPM 1119 English (cohort before 2021 ), SPM CEFR Level 82 or above (cohort from 2021 onwards), Grade C in GCSE English, Grade A in IGCSE English as a Second Language, B3 in UEC English or equivalent
