COURSE OVERVIEW

Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Computer) is an excellent choice for students who have qualifications such as SPM, STPM, or O-Levels and prefer the option of gaining some industry experience before pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree.

This 2 ½ year program incorporates lectures, tutorials, group projects, assignments, labs, and industrial training to produce graduates who will be ready to face the rapidly growing field in Computer and Electronics Engineering with professionalism and confidence after a total of 96 credit hours.

At the same time, graduates will also be prepared to continue on to their degree in Computer or Electrical and Electronics or Electronics (Communication) Engineering with a different specialisation.

Detailed entry requirements

Pass with minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and 1 related subject (Science/Technical/Vocational);
AND a pass in English

Pass STPM;
AND pass in Mathematics, English and 1 Science/Technical/Vocational subjects at SPM or its equivalent

Certificate

Pass Certificate in Engineering/Engineering Technology (Level 3 KKM) (recognized by Malaysian Government) or its equivalent with CGPA 2.00;

Pass Certificate (Level 3 KKM) Vocational and Technical/Skills (recognized by Malaysian Government with CGPA 2.00 AND a Credit in 1 subject at SPM Level AND ONE (1) year of relevant work experience or a minimum of ONE (1) semester of a bridging programme
