COURSE OVERVIEW

The Foundation in Information Technology is a programme that serves as the stepping stone for students to venture into a Bachelor's degree in UNITEN under the field of Information Technology.

This syllabus has been designed to meet the requirements of professional bodies and industries while giving students a competitive edge. Emphasis is on the application of knowledge through teamwork, case studies, simulations, and real-life projects.

Students who have successfully completed their Foundation in Information Technology programme will be able to enter into the Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems), Bachelor of Information Technology (Visual Media), and Bachelor of Information Technology (Graphics & Multimedia).

50 credit hours of subjects are being taught in three semesters. This Foundation in Information Technology programme can be completed in 1 year.

Pass SPM with a minimum of credits (grade C) in Mathematics and 4 additional subjects.

O-Level

Pass O-Level with a minimum of credits (grade C) in Mathematics and 4 additional subjects.

UEC

Pass UEC with a minimum of credits (grade B) in Mathematics and 3 additional subjects.
