UCSI University’s BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management is a 3-year programme to equip students with operational, supervisory and managerial knowledge and skills, required for modern management in the global hospitality industry. It covers a wide range of areas from Front Office, housekeeping, food and beverage, kitchen to events. Students also have the prospect of indulging in research and development relevant to the industry’s emerging issues such as tourism policies and eco hospitality. Graduates of this programme will obtain two separate degree certificates that will be awarded by UCSI University and HTMi Switzerland – one of the world’s leading hospitality schools.
UCSI Foundation: Pass
SPM / ’O’ Levels (Arts / Science stream) : Min. 5 credits
STPM / ’A’ Levels: Min.2 Principles; Less than 2 principles
HSC / 12 years Education: Minimum average of 60%
UEC (Commerce / Science stream): Min. 5 credit; Min. 4 credits; Min. 3 credits
SAM/CPU (Arts / Science stream): SAM- Min. average of 60% in 5 subjects; CPU- Min. average of 60% in 6 subjects; Average less than 60%
Local Matriculation (Arts / Science based): Min. CGPA 2.5
International Baccalaureate (Arts / Science based): Min. 26/42 from 6 subjects
Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree / equivalent: Min. Pass
