COURSE OVERVIEW

This Master of Hospitality and Tourism Management programme is designed to better equip the students for the international hotel industry. It offers students skills that are invaluable for career opportunities as well as research opportunities within the hospitality tourism industry. Additionally, this Master's degree enables those looking to change careers to enter the world of hotel and tourism management as it also provides the opportunity for those who have an undergraduate degree in a related field looking at further education to extend their learning and to obtain additional qualifications.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Detailed entry requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or its equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) or its equivalent but not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a related field.

English Language Requirements

1) Malaysian Students

MUET Band 3.0 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 42 or equivalent.

2) International Students

International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 4 or its equivalent.
