This diploma programme aims to equip students with a fundamental understanding of early childhood education. It is designed to produce early childhood educators with the relevant and up-to-date knowledge and competencies in child psychology, cognitive development, early childhood curriculum and assessment, children with special needs, digital technology in early childhood education, health and safety, school, family and community partnership and early childhood programme administration and management. Early childhood education simulation room, and creative art and play therapy room are among the facilities available in our campus to support students’ learning. Upon graduation, students can progress to the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Honours), at Year 2 entry level, if they wish to obtain a degree in early childhood education.

#Grade B and above in AMMS0104 General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject. ## Grade B and above in FPGS0104 General Science conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Science requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Science subject. **Grade C and above in AELE0364 English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.
