COURSE OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) is a professional course that provides a recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying and offers a pathway towards becoming a registered Quantity Surveyor. Graduates gain automatic membership to the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), recognition from a network of over 140 countries through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and accreditation from the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS). Graduates of this programme will learn and understand the correlation between economics, technology, management and law, adding value to the financial and procurement management of construction projects.

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

A pass in SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits including Mathematics with a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History in SPM.

Taylor's Foundation in Natural and Built Environments (FNBE)

Pass with min. CGPA 2.67 (not subject to interview and AA).

Other Taylor's Foundation

Pass with min. CGPA 2.67.

Taylor's Diploma

Pass with min. CGPA 2.67.

Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)

Min. CGPA 2.00 for 3 subjects.

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

Pass with min. 5Bs

A-Levels

Min. EEE.

South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/SACE International

Min. ATAR 65.

Canadian Pre-University (CPU)

Min. average of 65% in 6 subjects.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

Min. 24 points and above based on 6 subjects.

MUFY

55%

Foundation and Diploma from other institutions recognised by Malaysian Government

Pass with min. CGPA 2.67.

Other Qualifications

Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
