The Foundation in Science Studies is a programme specially designed for students who wish to pursue a basic degree in Medicine, Pharmacy and other faculties at CUCMS. The subjects covered are specially chosen in application to their intended programmes. The subjects include Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Communication Skills, and Introduction to Medicine and Pharmacy. The syllabus was designed with close supervision from the faculties and classes are taught by competent instructors.
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM): 5 Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and 1 additional subject.
General Certificate of Education Ordinary (“O”) Levels: 5 Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics) and 1 additional subject.
