Have you always wanted to do good and help people? If you said 'yes' to at least one of the above, then you may want to consider studying Physiotherapy in Malaysia. Let us slowly ease you into what this course will entail.

Typically, graduates in this field land jobs in hospitals either in the private or government sectors, specialist centres, clinics, nursing homes, rehabilitation centres and even research institutions. With enough experience, you can even start up your own private practice
The medical field is not only for doctors. A Physiotherapy graduate will be able to play a huge role in the medical and research field and indirectly change the lives of patients through correcting their joints, postures and muscles. Much like doctors, you’ll also learn about the human anatomy and physiology.
If you’re looking for ways to help people but not really into all the ‘packing-food-and-distributing-on-the-streets’, then Physiotherapy will enable you to do good in a different way.
Not only the elderly have arthritis. You’ll meet different kinds of people, from children to adults and senior citizens. In fact, those born with clubfoot, develop cysts and injuries or in the recovery period after an accident will need your expertise.

Important Note: If you opt to study a Diploma in Physiotherapy and continue your degree at the same institution, you will most likely get a one-year exemption. This means that you can enter degree year 2 after diploma. .
It is not necessary for you to do your postgraduate but doing so would help you advance in your career and open up more job opportunities. You can opt to work straight after degree as well.
More often than not, you’ll be dealing with people who have been through bad, sometimes life-altering injuries. You will be vital in their recovery process and as such need to be patient and able to covey your messages across clearly.
Many of your patients may be easily agitated as they would be under a lot of mental and physical pain. You need to be calm and cool, trying to put yourself in their shoes, all in the name of making sure they may recover some day.
Many people who crave a career in sports consider Physiotherapy because it’s a more logical option. While you may not be on the field kicking the ball, you may just be on the sidelines waiting to run on when someone gets injured.
