Hello Amiesya,

The entry requirements for a law degree for an STPM student is just minimum of Cs. However, you will have to cross-check with the universities you wish to apply to because it depends on the institution and what they require. For more information on the law course, institutions that provide the desired course, and its entry requirements, do have a look at Law Course in Malaysia

Hope you find this helpful and good luck!

Hi Crisphine,

To enter Foundation in a university, a G in Maths would render it very difficult for you to enrol. This is because Maths is one of the 5 subjects in SPM that you should score, alongside Bahasa Malaysia, General Science, History, and Pengetahuan Moral. You may refer to this article for more info about the subjects you should score: https://afterschool.my/bm/berita/5-subjek-spm-wajib-skor-aliran-sastera

You can opt for STPM. However, when you undergo STPM, you will have to take Maths as one of your subjects and must be able to score by then, regardless of whether you are planning to take an Arts course or a Science course.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi Thiviya,

Unfortunately, all universities in Malaysia require you to have at least a pass in your SPM to be able to enroll you in their courses. One of the only ways you can do to be able to do a certificate or diploma in a university is to retake your History paper in July next year.

However, if you do not plan to retake your SPM, you can try to apply for the "sijil persediaan" in a community college by the government. After getting this preparation cert, you will then be able to go for the full cert, and then diploma and degree if you choose to do so. You can check out the courses available and apply for these colleges here:

Hope this helps. We wish you all the best :)

Hello Nur Shamimi,

Your results are really good! Congratulations! Don't worry if you did not get an interview opportunity at your chosen university. You may not have gotten your first and second choice but that doesn't mean you didn't get your other choices. They will move on to your third choice if you have failed the first and second one. Results will be released on July 30 so we suggest you wait for that first before losing hope. Your results are considered pretty good so you most likely will get one of your choices.

However, if somehow you did not get any of your choices, you can consider other universities as well. Let us know how it goes for you once the results are released so we can guide you into choosing other universities with a suitable course.

We wish you all the best and look forward to hearing the good news!
