The interactions of countries with different level of economic development have serious impact on businesses, investment and the lives of the people of an individual country.The Bachelor of Economics (Hons) Global Economic examines the intricate workings of the global economic environment. With advanced knowledge that is supported by analytical abilities of a trained economist, graduates will be able to identify world economic trend, issues of international trade and assess the impact of economic and trade behaviour of countries. Such ability is highly sought after by organisations for trade and investment opportunities.Graduates of the Bachelor of Economics (Hons) Global Economic are eligible for certain exemptions from the professional examinations of ICSA. Membership with ICSA is an option for students to become a professional in the field of corporate governance.
Entry Requirements
STPM with 2 principal passes Or A-level with 2 passes Or South Australian matriculation (SAM) with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) 70 and grade B in two subjects Or Canadian Pre-University with an average of 70% in 6 subjects
Foundation in Arts, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Foundation in Science, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Or Matriculation certificate, Ministry of Education
Diploma,Tunku Abdul Rahman Universiti college (TAR UC)
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government AND A credit in 1 SPM mathematics subject/ equivalent or Unified examination certificate (UEC) with grade B in 5 subjects including 1 mathematics subject
