Passed STPM with at least;
A-Levels :
3 Principal Passes
Diploma :
Pass Diploma with a CGPA of 3.00 or other equivalent qualification as approved by the Malaysian government and the University’s Senate
Matriculation :
Pass Sijil Matrikulasi KPM/Asasi Sains with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and receive at least Band 1 in MUET
Important Note: Diploma is not offered for this course. Students can enrol for a pre-university programme in science stream before applying for a degree in Marine Biology.
It is not necessary for you to do your postgraduate but doing so would help you advance in your career and open up more job opportunities. You can opt to work straight after degree as well
While not every assignment or task will be a dive into the deep blue see as seen on tv, your job will require you to spend as much time out of the office as you do in it.
