Hi Ikmal,
That's a good question. A number of institutions accept trial results when applying into their programmes. If you have found a course you are interested in, you may use your trial results to apply for it and enroll into the college before your SPM results are released. You will be issued a conditional offer letter first, and secure a spot for yourself into that course. Once your real SPM results come out, you will be officially enrolled into the university provided you meet the entry requirements. But don't fret! Your trial results won't stray far from your real ones, so chances are if your trial results meet the entry requirements, then it should be the same for your actual results as well.
Hope this helps!

Hi Mohammed Ikram,
There are a number of universities in Malaysia that offer environmental science, such as Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and more. You can view a full list on our page here.
The SPM requirements may differ with each university, but the minimum requirements include a credit in Bahasa Malaysia and a pass in Sejarah. Universities that offer this course may also require you to have obtained a credit or pass in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and/or Mathematics in your SPM examinations.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi Hamizah!
Yes you can still apply for UPU. Unfortunately this year's application is already closed. You will need to wait for next year's application to apply for it. Meanwhile, you can read all the information regarding UPU application at our website here.
Hope it helps!

Choosing a Course
-1
Hi Julia Natasha,
There are a number of universities offering Geology as a bachelor's degree course in Malaysia, such as Curtin University, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), and many others. You can view the whole list on our website here.
The minimum SPM requirements may differ for each university, but generally you would need to be good in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as geology involves exploring the earth's resources and reduce the risk of geological disasters via calculations.
You will of course need to complete your pre-university (such as A-Levels, Foundation or STPM) before pursuing a degree in Geology. The usual cut-off score for pre-university programmes like A-Levels/ STPM is 5 (best of 3 subjects).
Hope this helps! Do let us know if you require any further assistance.
Physics
Hi Nurnabila!
There are a lot of courses that you can apply that are Physics related. The most common ones are Diplomas in any Engineering field and Foundation in Science. As for career pathway, you can be an Engineer or a Quality Assurance Officer once you complete your degree in any Engineering fields. If you're interested, you can check out Universities that offer both Foundation in Science and DIploma in Engineering such as Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur and University College of Technology Sarawak (UCTS).You may fill in the bar on the right if you are keen on enrolling, and one of our counselors will get in touch with you.:)
All the best for your SPM!
Hi Husain. Firstly, congratulations on the straight As! That's a huge accomplishment right there.
1) You can apply for UPU when you are done. Do note that you will be limited to select courses that accept A-Levels (different universities will offer different courses). Additionally, you will need MUET to apply for a Bachelor's degree course at a public university.
2) There are many scholarships for Degree courses offered to students with A-Levels. It may seem obvious, but you will need exemplary results to apply. You may check out our scholarship page fir further information: https://afterschool.my/scholarship
Hi Hao, may we ask which questions you are referring to exactly? Thanks.
Hi Alya! Which university are you referring to? We would be happy to suggest a few if you share some of your interests with us. Many universities offer scholarships to SPM students in the form of tuition waivers. However, you will need your official SPM results for this.
Do let us know and have a good day!
Could you please give us your email address?
