Hi Nur Hidayah,
Yes, you may apply for a graphic design course even if you did not take an Art subject in your SPM exams. Do note that you will be required to go through a pre-u programme before you can pursue a bachelor's degree in graphic design (e.g. A-Levels, STPM, Diploma, Foundation etc.). For more info about pre-u programmes, you may read the article here or download our free e-book here.
As you did not take an Art subject in SPM, you will very likely be required to submit an art portfolio or sit for an art assessment before pursuing the graphic design programme to determine whether you are suitable to undergo the programme. Thus, it is very important that you begin compiling an art portfolio that includes samples of drawings, sketches, paintings or any other form of artistic work.
