Hi, may I know as a financial analyst, is that good if I study in bachelor of commerce, major in finance, marketing and management? And if I enrol to CFA in future, is that ok? (Because we have the option to choose major in finance and accounting or finance and economics, but i wish to take marketing)

Yes, there are universities that offer E-commerce courses in Malaysia.

Hello Cindy,
1. In the finance/business industry’s point of view, either of these choices are good, as the business world will always need accountants, marketers and managers to ensure that the economy stays stable.
1. There is no harm in joining the CFA, as it gives you extra recognition when you are applying for jobs in the future.
However, all in all, the final decision in making these choices depend on your own interest and passion in the field. If you really want marketing, then you should go for it as it is better for you if you are doing something you really love.
