Yes you can, certain universities that offer Foundation in Accounting will require a minimum of 5 credits inclusive of English and Maths. In order for you to pursue an Accounting field, the common pathway is to complete Pre- University (Foundation, A-Levels, STPM, Matrics, CAT, etc.) first. The requirements for these Pre-University courses do not require Accounts in SPM but it is an added advantage if you do.

After completing your pre-u, you can then head on to do your degree in accounting or ACCA if you want to be a Chartered Accountant. For your information, INTEC is one of the best in Accounting and ACCA. You can pursue CAT and ACCA there. The fees for the degree in accounting differs from one institution to another therefore you have to be specific as to which institutions you would like to enquire about in regards to pursuing your studies in that field. For example:
Curtin University, Malaysia
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting): RM 67,200 for a full time 3 year course.
Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL)
Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons): RM 54,000 for a full time 3 and a half year course.
International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW)
Bachelor of Accounting (Hons): RM 55,500 for a full time 3 year course.
