Hello Mawaddah,
If you are interested in a TESL Degree, please check with the universities you wish to apply to if they have the desired course. Usually if you have a diploma, they will check the scores you got rather than the title of it. So make sure that you have a minimum 2.0 CGPA with your diploma if you wish to further your studies in TESL. For more information do check, TESOL and TESL in Malaysia. The page has all the information including universities with the course you desire.
I hope you find this helpful for you and your future, good luck!

Hello Farah,
Civil Engineering and Architecture both have similarities in the case where they work with planning and designing structures. However, Architecture focuses more on the spatial functionality and aesthetics of the development work (aka the design) while Civil Engineering focuses more on the structural elements of the design, ensuring the safety and durability of the structure in both normal and extreme conditions.
Hope this helps :)

UNIMAS - Universiti Malaysia Sarawak

Hello Irene,
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) does, in fact, offer an Architecture course. They started running the course officially in 2017. Unfortunately, in order to pursue the architecture degree at UNIMAS, you will have needed to apply through UPU, which has closed by now. If you want to continue your studies at UNIMAS, you will need to wait for UPU applications to re-open next year.
Fret not! There are other universities that offer a degree in Architecture, like Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) and University College of Technology Sarawak, that you can apply to now! If those aren't to your liking, you can look also look for other universities that offer the course here.
If you are interested in applying for the course, just fill in the bar on the right and one of our counselors will get in touch with you.
Hope this helps! Wishing you the very best! :)

Hello Lau Bin Lu,
The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) does indeed allow non-Muslim students to enroll in their courses. UiTM is the only institute that requires students to be bumiputera, but IIUM accepts students of all backgrounds. You will only need to satisfy the entry requirements that the university has for the specific programme and adhere to their dress codes as this is an Islamic institution. Other than that, you should have no problem in enrolling for the Foundation in Architectural and Environmental Design programme at IIUM.
Hope this clarifies your doubts. We wish you all the best!

Accounting
Hi Nusrah,
Among all the courses you mentioned, Strategic Management would be most suitable for you. This is because the other courses are suited towards those who are more reserved or are not really active. You can also enrol for those programmes and we're sure you will do well, but you might not enjoy the long hours spent facing the screen or calculating the whole day. Do note that you will be doing this for at least a few years after you graduate or perhaps, your entire career so it's important to choose wisely. However, your character is also suited for the advertising field where they would require some calculation, lots of drawing and creativity. If you are not offered advertising at UPU, you can opt for private institutions as well.
Hope our guidance has helped you pick the right course and we wish you the best of luck! :)
