The One Academy

Illustration major is a 3-year course comprising 9 semesters. The first year of your diploma programme consist of studio work augmented by slide lectures, demonstrations, field trips and critiques. In these courses, students learn to manipulate the principles and elements of art while developing technical skills with various tools and media. This enables students to expand their critical thinking and deepen their understanding of visual language, which can be applied to concepts and materials encountered in major programs and in the professional world. The second year of coursework provides an understanding of the closely related fields of illustration especially into the entertainment design and comic drawing field, in order to broaden students’ career potential and creative scope. At graduate level, students build on their existing skills to reach a higher level of professionalism.
