Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (FMET) is one of the four faculties at TATIUC. The main objective of the FMET is to produce technologists and highly-skilled technocrats who are competent in manufacturing industries especially in the field of tools and dies. FMET is supported by skilful and committed Academicians, and each Academician is specialized in specific field and all of them have industrial working experiences.The Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Hons) (Production Management) programme about all aspects of manufacturing. Specific topics include computer-aided drafting and solids modelling, materials and processes, machining, plastics and composites, production methods and supervision, Six Sigma quality tools and methods, rapid prototyping and automation, including robotics and PLC programming.
Pass in STPM or equivalent with minimum of grade C (CGPA of 2.0) for subject Mathematics and ONE (1) related science subject and pass Bahasa Inggeris at SPM level.or
Recognized Engineering Diploma/Engineering Technology Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.0. or
Recognized diploma in Vocational and Technical/Skilled diploma in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and pass Bahasa Inggeris. and
Possess (or undertake while studying at TATIUC) Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
