COURSE OVERVIEW

Diploma in Hajj and Umrah Management (DPHU) has been introduced at the Baitulmal Professional College Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) to SPM graduates starting in April 2015. The purpose of offering this diploma is to provide exposure on the concept of Hajj and Umrah, management of Hajj and Umrah. as well as operating umrah agencies. The duration of study of this program is for 2 ½ years. The DPHU program is a core combination of applied Islamic studies with conventional specialization: Islamic Studies and the Basics of Management

Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least THREE (3) credits in any subject and PASS Mathematics or equivalent;

OR Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) / Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or equivalent;

OR Pass Certificate (Level 3, SKM) in a related field recognized and have SPM with a minimum of one (1) credit or equivalent qualification;

OR Pass Certificate (Level 3, MOH) in a recognized recognized field or equivalent qualification;

OR Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia;

OR Pass Certificate (Level 3, SKM) in a related field recognized and have SPM with a minimum of one (1) credit or equivalent qualification;

AND Passed Arabic at SPM level or equivalent * For candidates who do not have Arabic language qualification at SPM level or equivalent will follow the Arabic language reinforcement subject at the beginning of study.
