COURSE OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Corporate Administration with Honours is an undergraduate programme in which the core accounting disciplines are enriched with a broad education in the management and business environment. This programme is offered to graduates with a diploma in accountancy and/or related fields, as well as those who have STPM, matriculation, and certificates/foundation programmes accredited by MQA. The programme features a mix of practical, theoretical, and applied subjects explored and developed over the three and a half academic years. It is designed to develop students’ knowledge and understanding of key principles and practices in accounting disciplines. The students are also required to undergo industrial training in the industry.

This training is for a period of 24 weeks in semester 9. The objective of this training is to expose students to real working environment in the industries. The programme is intended to produce technically assured graduates, who have acquired the management expertise and intellectual skills to embark on a rewarding career in the accountancy related professions, or to undertake further study at professional, or postgraduate level.

Minimum Requirement :

i.   A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or any equivalent qualificationOR

ii.   A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM levelOR

iii.   Any qualification equivalent to Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4, or 5, MQF)OR

iv.   Matriculation / Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 or any equivalent qualificationOR

v. Other qualifications from higher education providers (HEPs) which are equivalent and recognized by the Goverment of Malaysia

For international students, a minimum score 550 for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International Language Testing System (IELTS) score at least 5.5
