The School of Education and Human Sciences (SEHS) aims to equip students with necessary knowledge and skills required in the industry to work within various sectors, including education, social care, health, media and communication, and public policy. The programs are technologically-driven, global, and they encapsulate the communication revolution of the 21st Century – powered by the advent of Internet 4.0. The School provides an interdisciplinary and multimedia approaches for students by examining the relationship between theory and practice. The programs focus on developing students’ ability to demonstrate professionalism and technology-savvy.
A pass in the AIU's foundation or other recognized matriculation or foundation with a CGPA of not less than 2.00 and fulfillment of all other requirements for promotion to the first year of the undergraduate degree program or Two principal passes of 'C' Grades in the Malaysian STPM (Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia) examination ; or At least two principal passes (minimum Grade D) in General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE 'A' level) Examination (UK educational System) obtain in one sitting ; or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (MQF Level 4) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0: orAny other certificate that is recognized by the Senate as Equivalent to one of the above Open Entry Admission Qualification : Criteria outlined by the Malaysian Ministry of Education (MOE) under the open Entry Admission System and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) as approved by the Malaysian Qualification Agency AndInternational English Testing Services (IELTS), a minimum overall academic Band score of 5.0 for each of the skills or Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) at a score of 500 or higher is required or Test of Malaysian University English Test (MUET) at a score of Academic Band 2 for Malaysian Application and Band 4 for International Applications or Provide proof of required level of English proficiency as evaluated by AIU.
