With the announcement of the UPU appeal results, those that did not receive an offer to study the program or at the university of their choice are worried as to whether there are alternatives that will still allow them to apply to their selected program.
The answer is yes, that is by continuing your studies at private universities in the study program offered under their collaboration program with public universities.
This means, you will submit an application and if successful, will continue your studies at a private university but the certification is awarded by a public university. Plus, the graduation convocation day will be held at a public university as well. The private university will just be your place to study since all the seats at public universities are full.
However, we would like to remind you that you will still need to pass the eligibility requirements set by the private university to apply. Otherwise, this will result in a failed application. Below, we have a list of private universities offering courses and certificates from public universities.

Hopefully this article can help you make the right choice to further your studies. The most important thing is not where you study but knowing that what you’ll be studying has a career potential, a recognized certificate, quality teaching staff, complete facilities, and affordable fees. Because at the end of the day, there is no point in bragging about which university you’ve studied at when the courses have no future job potential. To the universities mentioned, if there are any mistakes or the course is not offered, please email [email protected]. The above list was obtained through the official website of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
