Diploma in Finance

The fully accredited course offers a formal curriculum that contains all of the elements required for professional accreditation by the Malaysian Qualifying Agency (MQA). Diploma in Physiotherapy

The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) was the second Faculty to be set up at AIMST. It has set its goals to promote cutting-edge multidisciplinary programmes in which are infused the elements of innovativeness and technopreneurship designed to enhance market competitiveness. Currently, the Faculty has only one department, which is Department of Biotechnology. Under this department, FAS offers its own three-year degree programme with honors i.e. BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology (BT). In addition to BSc course, Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology (by research) are also offered by FAS through Department of Biotechnology. Postgraduate programs are becoming popular among the students and the numbers of students are increasing every year.

The Master of Pharmacy (Clinical Pharmacy) programme in AIMST University is tailored to fortify students in order to enhance their skills in evidence-based practice, rational use of medications, practice-based research and provision of top-notch clinical pharmacy services. Core clinical pharmacy subjects are the fulcrum of the programme in conjunction with the training. AIMST University now offers a Master of Science in Medical Physiology. The Master of Science (Pharmacy) programme in AIMST University is tailored to fortify students in order to enhance their skills in research, bio-statistics and provision of top-notch laboratory services. This program leads to specialization in various aspects of pharmaceutical research, which is an integral part of the drug discovery and drug design processes. Core subjects are the fulcrum of the programme in conjunction with the research activities. The PhD program emphasizes independence in scientific pursuit and critical thinking with an emphasis on quality research and life-long learning to bring the student to a higher level of competence in Medical Microbiology with special expertise in an area chosen for the thesis. It considers all aspects of Medical Microbiology and incorporates all learning domains of Malaysian Qualifications Framework. A Doctoral Degree is to provide further enhancement of knowledge, skills and abilities obtained at the master&rsquo;s level. It generally provides the graduate with the abilities to conduct independent research. The broad objective of the PhD Medical Microbiology programme is to produce high quality graduates that are able to integrate knowledge and skills drawn from biological sciences and related technologies, taking into account the aspects of ethics, communication skills, leadership, professionalism and social responsibility.

Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmacy)

The Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) was the second Faculty to be set up at AIMST. It has set its goals to promote cutting-edge multidisciplinary programmes in which are infused the elements of innovativeness and technopreneurship designed to enhance market competitiveness. Currently, the Faculty has only one department, which is Department of Biotechnology. Under this department, FAS offers its own three-year degree programme with honors i.e. BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology (BT). In addition to BSc course, Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology (by research) are also offered by FAS through Department of Biotechnology. Postgraduate programs are becoming popular among the students and the numbers of students are increasing every year.
