A course in Drama, Theatre & Film will open up your eyes to see the world in a different light. You are expected to always think out of the box and make creative choices to stand out.
Because this course requires you to work out of your comfort zone and unfamiliar situations, you will tend to discover new things and learn that you are capable of doing much more, hence, building your level of confidence.
While others communicate with plain words, you get to communicate with visuals, sounds, animated graphics and realistic motions, bringing life to something dull. Since you have to work with a team, you get to improve both verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

You need to be able to imagine wildly imaginative backdrops and stories, some that would leave your audience in awe. You’ll need to be able to connect with an audience without words, a truly remarkable skill that needs to be honed.
While acting in front of a mirror in your bathroom is a good start. But acting in front of a huge crowd, or having your short film screened, requires confidence beyond belief. To believe in your talent enough to show the world, that’s confidence.
Cinematographers, producers, editors, screenwriters, directors, videographers are just a handful out of the hundreds of moving pieces involved in a production. Whatever position you’re in, you’ll need to work with demanding people above you, and those who under your command.
