Many education aspects have remained uncertain since the Movement Control Order (MCO) came into effect in Malaysia in mid-March, including students’ higher education progress, decisions about the right education pathways and concerns about course fees.
To ease families’ financial burdens and keep the higher studies momentum going, SEGi University and Colleges has pioneered a new initiative that enables new students to defer their payments for the first six months of studies at zero per cent interest rate.
The Zero First 6 campaign is a convenient payment programme that facilitates the continuity of tertiary education by enabling students to enrol into any of the SEGi campuses or programmes and start studying first.
Zero First 6 is a convenient payment programme that enables new students to enrol into any of the SEGi campuses or programmes and start studying first without any payment.
Students will only start paying from the seventh month and the deferred balance shall be spread across the ensuing instalment payment plans to ease any financial burdens that families may continue to face post-pandemic.
This optional payment scheme complements existing flexible payment programmes such as the Jom ke SEGi Scheme, which allows students to study first and *pay within 36 months upon graduation or other instalment payment options available at all campuses.
Offered exclusively to Malaysian students, the Zero First 6 campaign also comes with a *rebate of up to RM6,000 until 30 June for all new student enrolments.
