While this is a relatively new field, it is definitely one to look out for in the near future. This career path will be something very common in fashion houses over the next few years. Their roles involve taking paper designs and translating them in a 3D CAD file, then printing those deigns on a 3D printer. These printed models are already allowing fashion designers to create works that were previously impossible to create.
