Local University Application Status to be Available from July 16

Students that have applied to study in community colleges, public universities, polytechnics, and Public Skills Training Institution (ILKA) with their SPM results or its equivalent can check their status from 12pm on Friday, July 16, 2021.

The Higher Education Ministry made a statement on July 15 sating that the status for Certificate, Foundations Studies, Diploma programmes and the Bachelor of Architecture Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) applications for the 2021/2022 academic session can be found on these websites:

Candidates with successful applications will be required to either accept or decline their offers and can print the offer letters from their respective university’s admissions page from Saturday July 17 to July 26. The institutions will issue the office offer letter 10 days after the offer has been accepted.

For those students that don’t get their chosen certificate course, they may appeal through UPUOnline to enter into public universities and polytechnics.

These appeals be done at this website before July 26, and appeals to ILKA and Community Colleges can be forwarded to the institution directly.

It should be noted that all offers made are final and there cannot be any requests for transfer. Furthermore, appeals will be considered based on vacancies in the selected programme after new students have been registered.
