What to expect from the Elena Cooke Foundation Scholarship besides money?

With a minimum of 3 As, this scholarship is aimed at underprivileged SPM graduates, whether these students live with their families, children’s homes and/or orphanages.

Some of the benefits that you will be getting if your application for the Elena Cooke Foundation Scholarship is successful and you become the recipient of this scholarship:

1. Allowance for student expenses

Students accommodation, food, transport and books expenses will also be covered by the Foundation

2. Partnership with three institutions covering tuition fees

Sunway college & university, First City University College, and KDU University College are the primary partners of the Elena Cooke Foundation. These institutions will cover students’ tuition fees.

3. Application for non-partner institutions is open to applicants

If the students wish to apply to non-partner institutions, they still can apply for this scholarships.

4. No bond after graduation

Students will not be bonded with the Foundation after graduation. However, the recipient is expected to uphold the values and responsibilities the foundation represents.

5. Counseling services for scholarship recipients

If students need help in matters related to their studies, personal issues, and if they just feel like talking to someone, they can utilize the help provided by counselors.

6. Getting involved with the Foundation

The foundation is currently exploring how can they get involved with their recipients in other areas beside tracking the academic progress.
