The SONY Scholarship is a scholarship offered by Sony EMCS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

So, what are the criteria?

• Malaysian citizen with age below 25
• Students pursuing Bachelor Degree in IPTA/ Public University
• Outstanding academic achievements in school and pre-university
• Diploma and current degree qualifications with a minimum CGPA of 3.0
• Proficient in English, hardworking, possess excellent academic achievements matched with positive personality traits and have outstanding extra - curricular activities

Can students from all disciplines apply for this scholarship?

Unfortunately, nope. Only students from the listed disciplines below are encouraged to apply: 

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics or Software)
• Bachelor of Business (Economics, Marketing, Human Resources or Administration)
• Bachelor of Computer Science
• Other fields related to the above disciplines

Alright, but what's the total amount that the scholarship will cover?

Thankfully, the SONY scholarship will help students cover RM9,000 per annum!

What about any additional perks?

Scholars will be bonded and must be willing to serve Sony EMCS (M) Sdn. Bhd. for a specified period of time upon completion of studies. That means, you'll be employed immediately after graduation!

The deadline for this scholarship is 4th December 2020!
