Sime Darby will be giving RM22.6m worth of scholarships
- Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) is increasing its scholarships allocation, from RM20.5m last year to RM22.6m this year.
- The foundation will be providing a total of 380 scholarships for deserving applicants to study in the tertiary level locally and overseas.
- YSD Governing Council Member Tan Sri Dr Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin said that YSD wants to reward high performers from low-income families, in order to motivate those who are underprivileged to pursue higher education.
- YSD is running a scholarship recruitment frive and roadshow, starting mid-March until May.
