RM663,000 scholarship awarded to 15 students

IJM Corporation Berhad awarded 15 scholarships amounting to RM663,000 to outstanding Malaysian undergraduate students to pursue their first-degree courses in local universities and institutes.

IJM Corporation Berhad in a statement said the 15 recipients were notably selected by a panel of interviewers based on their academic excellence, active involvement in sports and co-curricular activities and family financial background.

The scholarships were presented by IJM chairman Tan Sri Abdul Halim Ali, who was accompanied by chief executive officer and managing director, Datuk Soam Heng Choon at a ceremony in Subang Jaya, Tuesday.
