Family members of the missing flight, MH370 are still waiting to receive the education fund that was promised to them two years ago.
Back in 2014, a foundation was established to fund the education of children of MH370 crew, up to tertiary level. Eu Yan Sang and Genting Group were the two organizations who pledged to donate RM500,000 each.
However, relatives of the MH370 crew still have no clue of the status of the education fund, let alone receive any financial assistance.
As reported in New Straits Times (NST), the wife of MH370 chief steward Wan Swaid Wan Ismail, Nur Laila Ngah said there has not been any educational support for her three children aged between 10 and 14.
"We heard of a few foundations offering help for our children when the news of missing flight broke, but none of them approached us," Laila added.
