New Zealand's University of Waikato offers scholarship funds for Malaysian students

The University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand is offering financial aid to Asian students, including Malaysians. The Waikato Excellence Scholarship for Asia provides pre-degree (foundation), undergraduate, and postgraduate studies.

The University of Waikato, informally Waikato University, is a comprehensive university in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a satellite campus located in Tauranga.

The scholarship amount is up to RM26,900 ($10,000). The award is given to international students who demonstrate academic excellence, hold an offer from the university in any subject, and those who intend to begin their studies at the university next year.

The University of Waikato was ranked 44th in the influential Times Higher Education Top 100 'Under 50' list.  Its leading course offerings include education, modern languages, economics and econometrics, law, and computer science and info systems.
