Australian scholarship for engineering and IT

The University of Queensland, Australia is offering a scholarship for Malaysian students who seek to study their first degree in engineering and information technology at the Australian university. This is comes in an effort to attract more Malaysian students to study in Australia. The scholarship is available for future students.

Eligibility:

Malaysian students with Diploma qualifications in the fields of engineering and information technology with a good academic record are eligible to apply. The scholarship is in the form of a 50% fee reduction for students who want to study one of the following programmes:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
• Bachelor of Information Technology

Malaysians living in Australia with a permanent residency status are not eligible to apply. However, if a Malaysian student in Australia who intends to pursue a degree in one of the two fields of study mentioned above may apply.

Application

Application for this scholarship opened on August 1^st and will close on October 31^st.

The application process

1. Students are required to apply for the University of Queensland and the application must be sent to the international office at the university

2. Upon submission, the application will be reviewed and students will be issued a UQ Student ID Number.

3. Complete the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology online form and submit to the Faculty Office:
