Afterschool

The main formula to find a scholarship is to keep your eyes open.
Other than the main scholarships from the government of Malaysia such as MyBrain, Slab/Slai, JPA, and Mara, there are actually many other scholarship opportunities out here on Afterschool.my.
Scholarship offers are usually open from the beginning of the year until mid-year and in very short durations.
So you need to always be aware of the closing date and the conditions attached.
The concept of hunting scholarships is to try to apply as much as possible. You will not know the result until you try. Cliched as the saying may be, failing once does not mean you will fail forever.
Prepare all documents such as identity cards, academic certificates, supporting documents, proposals for your research studies and a letter of support by your supervisor in a special file to simplify the process of filling out forms.
What you can do after compiling these documents is to edit the information in the scholarship forms because most applications are now online.
Try Afterchool.my's latest addition, Scholarship Direct for a one-click application!
While filling the scholarship forms, be efficient in time management and techniques to make yourself have a distinct advantage over others.
Mention skills that are not limited only to one specialization. For example, if your bachelor's degree is in Urban and Regional Planning, with a major or specialization in housing, tourism planning and disaster planning, you can decide to pursue a Master's degree in real estate and urban planning and a doctorate (PhD) in municipal geography.
The selection of courses is also important in ensuring that the scholarship provider panel fall in love at first sight with your resume.
Choose a course that has a high market value in terms of career and which most people rarely choose to ensure less competition.
Select courses that have received accreditation from an external valuer or professional bodies
A scholarship application is a way to market yourselves, as we need to 'sell ourselves' to draw the attention of the potential sponsors but should be done with prudence, dignity and in a smart way
Good luck!
