Yayasan Sabah Scholarship

Applicants must meet all of the requirements below

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

The applicant criteria are as follows:

• Applicants, parents of Malaysian citizens from the state of Sabah; or
• Applicant, parent who is a Malaysian citizen but one of the parents is from Sabah; or
• The applicant, parent is a Malaysian citizen but one of the parents has Permanent Resident status in the state of Sabah 
• Priority is given to those who originate and reside in the state of Sabah

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Sabah State Outstanding Scholarship (BCNS) 

• Applicants must obtain at least 5A+ including Bahasa Melayu in the SPM 2021 examination.
• Outstanding Rural Student Scholarship (BCPLB)
• Applicants must obtain at least 5A including Bahasa Melayu in the SPM 2021 examination. 
• Specifically for the rural B40 group

Arabic Language Scholarships/Islamic Studies and Islamic Studies Scholarships

• Applicants must obtain a Full Certificate in the STAM examination (at least Jaid Jiddan/Very Good) and/or obtain at least 5 credits including Malay and Arabic in the SPM examination.

Arabic Language Scholarship (UCSF-Middle East)

• Applicants must obtain a Full Certificate in the STAM examination (at least Jaid Jiddan/Very Good) and/or obtain at least 4 credits including Malay, Arabic, Al Quran & Sunnah Education and Syariah Islamiah Education in the SPM examination.

Engineering Scholarship

• Applicants must obtain at least CGPA3.00 in the Matriculation/Foundation examination.

IPTA /IPTS /Tourism /Hospitality Scholarships /Basic Courses

• Engineering and Study Loans Applicants must obtain at least 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu in the SPM examination.

Early Childhood Education Scholarship (YSCT)

• Applicants must obtain at least 5 credits including Bahasa Melayu in the SPM examination.

YSCT/Polytechnic/UiTM Scholarships

• Applicants must obtain at least 3 credits including Bahasa Melayu in the SPM examination.

Baitulmal Professional College Scholarship, Kuala Lumpur (DKPBKL)

• Applicants must obtain at least 5 credits including Malay, English and Mathematics in the SPM examination.

Sabah State Outstanding Scholarship (BCNS)

• Course : Matriculation / Pre / Basic / 'A'Level/ Diploma
• Place of Study: Domestic, priority for students who follow the Twin Program (TTP)

Outstanding Rural Student Scholarship (BCPLB)

• Courses: Matriculation / Pre / Foundation / Diploma
• Place of Study: UiTM / UMS / UMP / UM / UniSZA / UniSHAMS / Pro College. Baitulmal, KL/ KTYS/ UCSF/ KUIPSAS

Arabic Language/Islamic Studies Scholarship

• Level of Study: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree
• Place of Study: Local Institution of Higher Learning /
• Twin Program (TTP) / ASEAN / Middle East

Islamic Studies Scholarship

• Level of Study: Bachelor's Degree
• Place of Study: Al-Azhar University, Egypt

Arabic Language Scholarship (UCSF-Middle East)

• Level of Study: Foundation-Bachelor's Degree
• Course: Arabic
• Place of Study: UCSF-Yarmouk University, Jordan

Engineering Scholarship (Mechatronic Engineering,

Automotive Engineering and Business Engineering)

• Level of Study: Bachelor's Degree
• Place of Study: Universiti Malaysia Pahang (German Cooperation Program) or Course: Foundations of Engineering
