PTPTN shuts out Unisel

- National Higher Education Corporation Fund (PTPTN) has frozen its loans to students studying in Selangor-owned Universiti Selangor (Unisel)
- It began last month during fresh intakes
- It is temporary move following 'political pressure' from the Opposition over free education, said Higher Education Ministry Datuk Seri Khaled Nordin
- The freeze would not affect Unisel students who were already receiving loans
