<ul><li>The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) allocates RM53.4 million in initial financial aid for 35,664 students who will be entering local institutions starting September 3, 2011.</li><li>RM1,500 will be given to eligible students two weeks before the date of enrolment.</li><li>The assistance is meant for students from families with an income of less than RM4,000 per month and have never received a PTPTN loan before.</li></ul>
