No, not the rock head that loves Rock N’ Roll music, but one who has an undoubted interest in the earth and the rocks that compose it. While many couldn’t care less about rocks, you have always found them fascinating, and wanted to go into a course that involved geology to observe how they change over time.
While most of kids your age don’t even know it exists, you use the calendar application on your phone religiously, to plan your entire day. You like to be in control of your life in an end-to-end manner. You have a plan, a big one, and you know exactly what you need to do to get there.
Petroleum engineering is no different when compared to other engineering courses, when it comes to the importance math plays in the respective fields. Numbers are like your reflexes, you don’t really notice how sharp they really are because it’s simply natural to you.
You live for riddles, and those quirky brain teasers someone posts every now and then on Facebook. Unlike most people, who would Google the answers to seem smarter than their peers, you don’t rest until you find the right answer through your own effort.
