Okay, maybe medical screening may sound a bit scary but it’s actually just a medical check-up. Well, two actually. Medical screenings are done so that you don’t bring in any illness or new bacteria into the country. Just follow these simple steps so the Malaysian Ministry of Education will know that you’re disease-free.

Step 1: Pre-Arrival Medical Screening
You’ll need to do a medical check-up at your home country. After you’ve passed it, you have to send the report together with other relevant documents to the institution of your choice. If the examination was done overseas at a registered clinic, the clinic will directly submit the report to the institution.
Hope you’re not afraid of needles because if you come from a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission, you have to take a yellow fever vaccine and provide the certificate (yes, you get a certificate for that).
