QS University Rankings released its top 10 universities in Asia this year. Universities were ranked based on 9 key performance indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, citations per paper, papers per faculty, proportion of international faculty and students, inbound and outbound exchange students.
Universiti Malaya (UM) made it in the Top 50, taking the no.32 spot. Also in the list are Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia which is at no. 56 followed by Universiti Sains Malaysia at no. 57. In the Top 100 list, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Universiti Putra Malaysia ranked 66th and 76th, respectively.
