Wawasan Open University to offer four more full-time degree courses in 2014

To meet the growing needs for quality higher education, Wawasan Open University (WOU) will be adding four more full-time degree courses next year. The new courses are:

• Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Banking and Finance
• Bachelor of Business (Hons) in marketing
• Bachelor of Technology (Hons) in Construction Management
• Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology

There will be three intakes for the full-time courses which be introduced in stages next year.  Aside from developing their academic programmes, the university is also looking for a suitable site in Penang for its expansion plan. Currently, its facility in Penang can only accommodate about 300 students.
