Students who are interested in taking up modern science and engineering will be delighted to hear that a programme in aeronautics and astronautics is now available in Malaysia. Offered by the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus (US MC), the Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautics and Astronautics will be available in September 2015.
The programme is approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and applies the Integrated International Engineering Education (IIEE) programme that allows students to spend 2 years studying in Malaysia followed by 2 years studying in the United Kingdom. This gives students an excellent experience of both countries, whilst graduating with a degree from a world-class, research-led university.
During their final two years, students will have access to Southampton’s engineering teaching laboratories and facilities in the UK including the renowned RJ Mitchell wind tunnel, Astronautics Lab & Vibration test facility and the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle development lab.
The programme offers excellent value-for-money (at around 40% less than the cost of the UK-based degree), access to world-leading academics, and an internationally recognised degree – all in a safe and friendly environment, both in Malaysia and the UK.
